In Floria, the term West–East divide refers to the cultural, economic, and social differences between Western and Eastern states of Floria:
- Western Floria usually refers to Kingsland, Victoria, Southland and Northern Ontario.
- Eastern Floria usually refers to Mesoun, Outer Mesoun, Southern Ontario, Pentucky, Southcliff, the Temple Islands and Sri Alba.
The cultural, economic, and social disparities between the West and the east are reflected heavily in Florian politics. Most states in the west are in favour of the Social Democratic Party of Floria whilst the east are battleground states in every presidential election. It is argued that the gap between the west and east in life expectancy, political inclinations, cultural and economics trends was growing to the extent that they were almost separate from each other.
