Wechua concrete

Wechua concrete is a specialized construction material developed by the Wechua people, known for their advanced masonry techniques and construction skill. This durable concrete combines locally sourced volcanic ash from the Mount Lacara region with limestone aggregate and organic binding agents derived from native Keltian flora. The material gained prominence during the reconstruction period following the Great Restoration of 1673 AN, when Wechua craftsmen sought to create permanent structures that could withstand both natural disasters and potential conflicts.

The production of Wechua concrete requires extensive knowledge of traditional mixing ratios and curing techniques that were closely guarded secrets of the stonemason guilds during the Second Wechua Kingdom. The material exhibits exceptional compressive strength and water resistance, making it particularly suitable for highland construction projects in the mountainous regions surrounding Mount Lacara. The distinctive grey-green coloration of the concrete comes from the volcanic minerals.

Following the formation of the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie in 1685 AN, Wechua concrete techniques were incorporated into the broader construction industry of the unified nation. The material played a significant role in the construction of federal buildings in the new capital of Cárdenas and continues to be used in infrastructure projects throughout the Wechua Nation and Santander regions, preserving this ancient craft while adapting it to modern construction needs.
