The Tiberian Valley in winter.

The Tiberian Valley is surrounded by the Silesian Peaks on the planet of Banas. It is home to a vibrant semi-arctic permafrost ecosystem consisting of a wide variety of aquatic and land mammals that have strict migratory patterns within the basin of the Tiberian Valley. Many of the species rarely ever exit the Tiberian Valley instead remaining strictly within the valley during the course of their total lifetime. The Tiberian Valley is also home to the frequently photographed Varisian Falls which are believed to provide the bulk of the fresh water supply for the city of Patras through a meandering underground series of rivers and streams and cascading waterfalls many of which have not been fully mapped.
