Tetrapole

The Tetrapole was the governing and legislative body of Audentior. It was notable for being one of the most functional of large micronational government bodies, and also the longest-lasting outside of Shireroth's Landsraad. In its life the Tetrapole was originally a representative body with legislators elected to represent a particular province within Audentior. At other times it was opened to the common citizenry as a directly-democratic forum where everyone could propose legislation and vote. Adequate representation was often an issue on the floor of the Tetrapole, and while the system can be said to have failed, it should be noted that at the time the size of the body was unheard of: at its peak the Tetrapole held dozens of active voting citizens. Much more than most micronational communities even today. Keeping such a large and diverse group running smoothly was not a simple task, especially when the legislative base was made up of young adults, and certainly contributed to its downfall. Nonetheless, it remained a template for future governments in other micro-nations that came after Audentior's collapse.
