Syrah was a nation situated in northeast Keltia and established around 1400 AN (2002). It was established by Britannic knights who, along with Sidona, had been hired by Attera as mercenaries to help with the conquest of the north. For most of its existence it was closely aligned with the neighboring superpower of Attera until eventually being annexed by them outright. Growing Syran power presented a threat to the Atteran Ras, while constant wars had bankrupted the economy, resulting in Attera seizing Dunluce and annexing the country, relegating the Britannic people to mere vassals.
