HIS ROYAL MAJESTY August Charles II, By the Grace of God King of Gotzborg, Archduke of Reichlau, Grand Duke of Lucerne, Marshal of the Union of Seven Nations, Lord of the Border Marches, Admiral of the Southern Reaches, Duke & Grand Elector of Jutien, Count Kendal does hereby send greetings;
WHEREAS the Chamber of Deputies has been unable to perform the duties of participative legislative body for Our Royal Kingdom;
AND in the interests of ensuring that Our Royal Kingdom can continue to function in an effective and efficient manner due to lack of of the citizens upon whom rests the burden and blessing to participate in guiding the direction of the state;
LET IT BE KNOWN that We of Our especial grace, certain knowledge and mere motion do by these presents suspend until further notice the official business and agenda of the Chamber of Deputies until such time as We are petitioned to re-institute it;
AND that Our Royal Government shall proceed with the business of state as before, passing legislation for Our Assent under Article 28 of the Reichlau Constitution;
AND that any such instruments passed during this suspension shall be posted in the Chamber whence upon re-constituting, the first order of business of the Chamber will be to provide all due consideration and review of said instruments and take action to address said instruments according to the Rules of the Chamber and the Reichlau Constitution;
AND We do further direct and enjoin that this Royal Decree shall be read and proclaimed in such places as appropriate within the Royal Kingdom of Gotzborg.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused this Our Royal Decree by the affixation of the Royal Seal of the Kingdom to be published, by witness Ourself at Lonenberg Palace this fourteenth day of February in the twenty-fourth year of Our reign.
