Shipping Taken Up From Trade (STUFT) is a programme initiated in 1718 AN by the Keltian Armada of Nouvelle Alexandrie to requisition and charter commercial vessels in support of the maritime component of Operation Purple Splendor. Vessels taken up by the naval arm included tankers with potable water and fuels, freighters carrying food and munitions, and passenger ferries converted to carry troops.
