Senyan occupation of Alexandria Island
In late 1727, Senyan forced began mounting an assault on an island known to Senyans as Alexandria Island. The former site of Stormark's Vinland and of the nation of Insulia, Alexandria Island was located just a few dozen miles north of the Senyan mainland and its status as part of the Green since the fall of the central government of Insulia had earmarked it as a location the Senyan government were keen to secure and neutralise before any other groups could access it. The occupation of Alexandria by Senya was framed as a mission to restore governance, security, and stability to the troubled island. Senyan forces implemented various measures to quell unrest, rebuild infrastructure, and establish a new administrative framework, producing a fertile environment for a stable long-term development plan and ultimately the annexation of the island into the Senyan nation.
