Santa Rina is one of the leading agrifood companies in the Republic of Vegno, specializing in the production and distribution of cheese, dairy products, and milk-based goods. Founded in 1734 AN in Cossa, the company rapidly became a symbol of Vegnese food industry, contributing to the development of rural traditions across the Vegnese Plain and the regions of Mhazar-Campoasciutto and Buonriposo.

The company is best known for its trademark featuring a stylized portrait of its founder topped by a golden halo and the slogan "Dairy Products Since 2024".

History

Foundation

Santa Rina was founded in 1734 AN by cheesemaker and entrepreneur Rinaldo Santori, a native of the Mhazar-Campoasciutto region, traditionally regarded as the heartland of Vegnese dairy production.

The company was established during a period of significant economic growth in Vegno, marked by agricultural modernization and the expansion of the national food industry.

Initially, Santa Rina consisted of a single cooperative involving fewer than fifty dairy farmers. Thanks to rural development incentives and growing domestic demand, the company quickly expanded its supplier network.

National Expansion

Between 1736 AN and 1742 AN, Santa Rina acquired several small dairies throughout the regions of Buonriposo, Caponord, and Falange. During this period, the company inaugurated its major production facility in Scanzata, which remains its primary manufacturing center.

In 1740 AN, Santa Rina launched its premium product line, Cormorant Selection, dedicated to aged cheeses intended for export markets. The line's success established the company as Vegno's largest cheese exporter.

International Expansion

Beginning in 1743 AN, Santa Rina started exporting to numerous nations across Micras, taking advantage of the commercial infrastructure of Cossa and Sancrus as well as Vegno's growing international trade relations.

In 1747 AN, the company opened its first international logistics center at the Port of Sancrus on Falange Island.
