Sand Coffee and Pita Party
The Sand Coffee and Pita Party is a nascent political party established in Cario in 1695 by a group of inebriated gamblers contemplating their lives at the Cario Sands Bar at its "Party Congress" via viva voce vote at 3:47 am of 4.V.1695. Inspired by their recent winnings at roulette, copious amounts of liquor, and by the sustained success of the Natopian Free Juice and Bagels Party and calling themselves tavernes, Clyde Williams, an Alexandrian exile lawyer and naturalized Constancian was elected as Party Secretary, Zakynthos Cephallenia-Kefallonia as Vice Chair, and Makarios Corfiot as Party Chair, all of them constituting the "Executive Committee" and designated to pay the open bar bill. The Party fund, comprising donations from party members present, at the end of the night totalled 44,435 Natopos, net of expenses. The late afternoon after the event, Party Secretary Williams, having collected his 500-natopo fee that night before, filed the necessary paperwork, in the absence of dissenting votes from his compatriots, who were admittedly incapacitated at the time. Party membership at the moment of filing totaled 39 individuals, as evidenced by the wine-stained "petition sheet".
Party Ideology
The Party adopted the political stance of the Free Juice and Bagels Party, subject to modifications to keep with Constancian tastes, and requested accreditation accordingly from Natopian and Constancian authorities.
