Sanama Insurance Cooperative

The Sanama Insurance Cooperative is a Sanaman cooperative founded in 1673, providing various insurance plans to its members. It is affiliated with most major unions and non-profit healthcare providers. The main purpose of the SIC is to provide its members with affordable insurance plans covering all needs. To this end, it provides plans for healthcare, retirement, unemployment, survivor benefits, disability benefits, family benefits, as well as insurance for automobiles, other vehicles and homes. SIC also cooperates with Sanama Banking Cooperative, SBC, Sanama's largest customer-owned bank.
