The Rosen (MOS code LIR) is the official currency of the Lordship of Ioanna, carrying over from its inception as a vassal of Bosworth to its present status as an independent state in 1740. The Rosen is a minted gold coin. The coin is minted in seven denominations: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100. In common transactions it is abbreviated as R. Ioanna does not issue paper currency.
Due to Ioanna's small size and fragile economy, the Rosen is currently pegged to Moorland's Redoubt Crown (RDC) for stability.
