Rosa van de Koogdijk is an Aemilian former educator. She was the headmistress of the Lycée de Taktwinkel from 1602 to her retirement in 1733. During this period the later princess Emilia Antoinette de la Rochelle was a student at the Lycée de Taktwinkel, as was her son Andries van Oudorp. Emilia Antoinette and Andries van Oudorp became friends and spent a lot of time in the home of Rosa van de Koogdijk, which made Rosa van de Koogdijk often feel like a second mother to the later princess. She would become an influential advisor of the princess, often urging her to stay true to herself and keep an open heart. At her school, Rosa van de Koogdijk was well-loved by her students, she tried to get to know all of them as best as she could. Her husband Diego van Oudorp died ten years before she did in 1749 in the city of Taktwinkel where she had lived all her life.
