The Port of Wechuahuasi is a major seaport in the city of Wechuahuasi, Santander, in Nouvelle Alexandrie. It is the second-busiest container port in the Federation after the Port of Punta Santiago. Established in 1688 AN when Santander joined the Federation as its newest Region, the port rapidly developed into a crucial maritime gateway serving the federal capital of Cárdenas. The Port of Wechuahuasi handles over 8.2 million TEUs annually (1723 AN) and serves as the primary maritime supply route for the Federal Capital District, processing approximately 65% of all maritime cargo destined for the capital region. The port complex includes 12 container terminals, 4 bulk cargo facilities, and extensive rail connections to Cárdenas via the Federal Railways, making it a vital hub in Nouvelle Alexandrie's maritime trade infrastructure. Its strategic location and deep-water harbor capable of accommodating large vessels have made it particularly important for trade with other Raspur Pact nations, handling roughly 40% of all Raspur Pact maritime trade entering Nouvelle Alexandrie.
