Piriya

Piriya is the largest city on the nortern coast of Alduria. It lies in the Baatharzi autonomous region, Nouvelle Alexandrie. The city is known for its beaches, as is a major tourist destination. The city is the third most populated in Alduria, after Punta Santiago and Lausanne. It has a population of 1,239,648 (1748 AN).
The city is also known for its extensive Baatharzi culture, a minority group in Nouvelle Alexandrie as former inhabitants of the Emirate of Baatharz. Its Bathani architecture and cuisine are most prevalent in the neighborhoods of An Narma and Jarrasrakh, as well as in the city centre, with the major Mosque called 'Masjid al-Bistami al-Fajr ' as a centerpiece for the city.
The city is much larger than the regional capital of Bâthshahr, owing to its much older history and historical importance as the main port of West Baatharz.
