Pacary National University
The National University of Pacary, (Paqalinusuit: Pacary inuiaqatigiinnut universiteti) (Nunaqeqertaqtitut: ᐸᖄᓖᑦ ᑲᓇᑕᒥ ᓯᓚᑦᑐᖅᓴᕐᕕᒡᔪᐊᖅ) is the largest and first university in Pacary. It is the only university located in Pacary and is located in Ittoqqortoormiit. It is home to about 750 students and the male-female ratio is almost fifty percent. In the past, classes were held in a large cottage located in the center of Ittoqqortoormiit, at that time there were only 100 students. It later moved to new campuses just outside of the city and has about four separate campuses. Student dormitories are across from the university. The rector of the school is Hanta Innik.
P.N.U. accepts students by application. Doctoral education can last between 2-4 years.
