Ittoqqortoormiit (Nunaqeqertaqtitut: ᐃᑐᖅᑐᐊᕐᒦᑦ) is the capital and largest city of Pacary. It is located in Pacary in a geography called the West Coast. It is 120 km from the city of Attu, which is an international airport, 100 km from Ullorvik and 180 km from Qaqqaq.

It has more opportunities than other cities, the only university, Pacary National University is here. And it also has an indoor sports hall (2,000 seats), a stadium under construction, and a shopping mall. Many of Pacary's companies are headquartered here and the Pacary National Library is located in this city.

Education

The city of Ittoqqortoormiit is one of the places with the best service on the whole island. Pacary National University, the only university in the country, is located in the capital. The university has four campuses and varies between about 750-1000 people. Also a lot of private and public schools are located in Ittoqqortoormiit. The largest is currently under construction. PNU is also subject to a student exchange program.

Transportation

Transportation in Ittoqqortoormiit is provided by buses. The so-called IT-Bussii was established to provide transportation within the capital and is administered by the Pacarian government. The bus travels on two lines. Line 1 covers the center and the port. Line 2 covers New Ittoqqortoormiit, stadium, university, dam and industrial areas. The company owns approximately 29 buses, most of which are exported from the Thrace Confederation.

There are no roads out of Ittoqortoormiit and transportation to other cities is not available by land. The construction of Ittoqorttoormiit Airport, which will function as an air transport hub, continues. The airport, which will provide transportation between other nations when opened, will be the largest infrastructure project.

In addition, the construction of the 95 km road between Ittoqortoormiit and Iterlammikkukkaartuivoq is planned. The road will be single lane and there will also be non-permanent recreational facilities on the road.
