Nuclear power in Sanpantul was officialy established with the 3rd Nuclear Act.
Since Sanpantul is poor in terms of oil and underground reserves, it is trying to focus heavily on nuclear and renewable energy. There are currently three reactors. The first reactor was opened in Minakoshi in 1675. The second reactor, Fururano, was opened in 1716, followed closely by the last reactor, Birabuchi, in 1730.
