Newhaven (Moorland)

Newhaven (Martino: Puerto Nuevo; in Hurmu Norse: Nyhafn; formerly known as Arevacía) is the largest city of Huntsland (a region of Moorland). It was prior to 1720 the capital of the Hurmu district of Moorland. The settlement endured privations as a consequence of the Wars of the Disinherited, being at various times occupied by the Green Einhorns and raided by the Sea-Reavers. The earthworks around the town, including the adjacent harbour and airfield, were dug by an abandoned Hurmudan garrison and the surviving populace as they awaited the deliverance of the District of Moorland. In 1720, the city along with most of the District of Moorland were ceded to Moorland by Hurmu, save for the Ports of Newhaven which were kept under Hurmu sovereignty.
