Micras Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter game developed by VISOR and published by Monster Interactive which is the planned story sequel to the extremely popular and highly controversial video game, Micras Warfare and it's DLC, Micras Warfare:Special Ops. It is the fifth main installment of the series.

Micras Warfare 2 is set during the present day following the events of Micras Warfare. The campaign follows the Raspur Special Task Force who attempts to eliminate the leader of a Jingdaoese Ultranationalist organisation and defend Northcliff in an unexpected global conflict. The game was originally not to feature any combat against Jingdaoese military forces and notable figures due to the notable controversies in the first game but the story was changed midway through development after the Operation Cobra scandal which lead to the banning of anti-Umraist content made in Floria after the data leak.

Piracy after global sanctions

After the invasion of Port Balaine, the purchase of Florian goods were banned in many nations around Micras. These sanctions, therefore, made Micras Warfare 2 the most pirated game of all time on Micras with Monster Interactive losing millions on copy and DLC sales.
