The Maritime Clubs of the Federation (Alexandrian: Clubs Maritimes de la Fédération, Martino: Clubes Marítimos de la Federación) is a network of private sailing and fishing clubs operating along the coasts of Nouvelle Alexandrie. Established in 1691 AN, the organization coordinates 147 member clubs across coastal regions, with particularly strong presence in Alduria, the Isles of Caputia, Islas de la Libertad, South Lyrica, Boriquén, and Santander. The clubs provide marina facilities, sailing instruction, fishing charters, and marine safety training to approximately 234,000 members, ranging from recreational sailors to commercial fishermen.
The Maritime Clubs operate through a cooperative model where member clubs share resources including rescue vessels, weather monitoring systems, and training facilities. Each club maintains between 50 to 500 boat slips, with larger facilities in major ports like Punta Santiago, Port Tablot, Hato Rey and Beaufort offering full-service marinas with repair yards and chandleries. The clubs' practical focus on seamanship and maritime safety has made them essential institutions in coastal communities, with their volunteer rescue services conducting over 1,200 maritime assists annually. The Federal Maritime Council, headquartered in Beaufort, coordinates inter-club regattas, standardizes safety protocols, and maintains the Federation's recreational vessel registry. Member clubs host annual fishing tournaments, youth sailing programs, and maritime skills workshops, contributing an estimated NAX€ 340 million to coastal economies through tourism and marine services.
