Mariana Alvarez (born Mariana Isabel Alvarez Garza; 16.VIII.1695 AN) is a Deputy to the Federal Assembly of Nouvelle Alexandrie, representing the Region of Santander for the Federal Consensus Party (FCP).
Early Life and Education
Mariana Alvarez was born in 1695 AN in Ciudad Real, Santander. She grew up in a politically active family; her father, José Alvarez, was a local councilman, and her mother, Sofia Alvarez, was a community organizer. Alvarez showed an early interest in law and governance, which led her to pursue a degree in law at the prestigious University of Cardenas, moving to the capital. It was there that during several internships in the Cortes Federales with the office of Premier Julio Delgado (SDLA).
Career
After graduating with honors, Alvarez began her career as a lawyer, specializing in constitutional law and civil rights. Her dedication and skill quickly earned her a reputation as one of the top lawyers in Cardenas. She worked on several high-profile cases, advocating for social justice and the protection of individual rights.
In 1725 AN, Alvarez transitioned from law to politics, joining the Federal Consensus Party of Nouvelle Alexandrie (FCP) and leaving the Democratic Socialist Party of Nouvelle Alexandrie, which was the successor party to the SDLA. She was elected as a Deputy to the Federal Assembly in 1729 AN, representing her home Region of Santander with the FCP.
