La Fiesta de la Boom (often written as La Fiesta De La B0O0/\/\) is an annual summer holiday in the Cedrist Cult of the Sacred Detonation (aka Boomists). This then spread to become a folk holiday across the Shirerithian empire and is thus observed by non-Cedrists and Cedrists alike in all the Vulture States. The nature of observance varies however. In Elwynn it involves fire works, while in Brookshire, actual unregulated explosions and detonations occur. The city of Musica, for example, is famous for being annually blown up and set on fire (notwithstanding how much the government tries to stop this behaviour).
