The Javelin KillStrike is a versatile air-to-surface missile and ground-to-ground missile designed and manufactured by Javelin Industries. The KillStrike delivers a significant increase in effectiveness against a broad spectrum of target types, with improved guidance and operational flexibility.

Design

The KillStrike has been engineered to engage both stationary and moving targets on land and at sea, even in challenging weather conditions. It features a highly accurate guidance system, a robust airframe to withstand high-speed launch, and a powerful tandem charge warhead capable of defeating heavily armored targets. The missile's length is approximately 1.8 meters, with a diameter of 180 mm, and it weighs around 6.3 kilograms. The KillStrike's warhead comprises a tandem charge to defeat explosive reactive armor, followed by a secondary charge to penetrate the main armor.

Capabilities

The KillStrike is designed for deployment from a variety of platforms, including aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and ground-based launchers. It features a two-stage guidance system: inertial navigation with MPS correction in the initial stage and millimeter-wave (MMW) radar homing in the terminal stage. This allows for high precision and resistance to countermeasures. The KillStrike can be programmed to engage targets in direct or top-attack modes, enabling it to defeat complex target types and configurations. Additionally, the missile's guidance system features an automatic target recognition (ATR) capability, allowing it to discriminate and select targets within a designated area autonomously.

Operational History

The KillStrike missile has been successfully deployed in various theatres of operation during the Wars of the Dispossessed, demonstrating its effectiveness against a wide range of target types and in diverse environmental conditions.

Received the designation of "S-6/A(S)" in the inventory of the Benacian Union Defence Force.
