Karaorman was a major city and port of the Republic of Antakia, and global headquarters for the Doner.Doner restaurant chain.
It was also the location of the 15,000-seater Karaorman Stadium, as well as the Karaorman International Airport.
It was occupied by elements of the 1st Vanguard Division as part of Operation Landslide.
