Imperial Decrees (Shireroth)/On the Legitimization of Certain Marriages

AYREON THE FIFTH by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Qaisar-e Sathratiye, who, by this Imperial Decree, gives unto his subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the high and mighty gods of Shireroth, undying and unthinking obsequience.

Know that We, Mibaradardam be Khorshid va Mah Minamaz dadanam Zurvan, have in the first place dedicated to Zurvan this decree which by his Kharenah is confirmed for Us and Our heirs forever.

On the Legitimization of Certain Marriages

We, moved by considerations of loyalty, noble service, and the perpetual flourishing of Our Most August Imperial Republic, have been graciously pleased to receive and favourably to grant the petitions presented before Our Golden Mango Throne by Our faithful subjects, namely: Utas Enrique Naian, Rosamund Azar Agueda, Alexander Amirzadeh Augustin, and Eva von Hutten, seeking the full and undoubted legitimization of their sacred matrimonial unions, and the formal recognition of the noble dignities thereunto appertaining, to be held henceforth and forevermore under the shield and sanction of Imperial law.

Accordingly, be it known, proclaimed, and eternally established:

1. That His Imperial Highness The Prince Utas Enrique Naian, Marquess of Sentratera, has rightly and lawfully been united in matrimony to Her Imperial Highness, Rosamund Azar Agueda, Viscountess of Lumenetra and Marchioness of Sentratera;
2. That His Highness The Prince Alexander Amirzadeh Augustin of Sentratera has rightly and lawfully been united in matrimony to Her Highness Princess Eva of Sentratera.

Furthermore, by virtue of Our Imperial Republic and the plenitude of Our Majesty, We do hereby ordain, decree, and command:

1. That the issue of these unions, born now and hereafter, shall be held legitimate, noble, and entitled in all things, and shall henceforth bear the illustrious surname of Ayreon-Kalirion de Waffel-Paine, as a mark of their exalted station.
2. That such issue shall stand duly recognized and enrolled in the Order of Succession to the Golden Mango Throne of Shireroth, according to the ancient laws and customs of Our realm, with all rights, dignities, and duties thereunto pertaining.
3. That likewise they shall inherit, by right of blood and title, the noble peerages of Sentratera and Lumenetra, and any and all other dignities, honours, and estates appurtenant or pertaining thereto, to be transmitted according to the lawful and customary order of inheritance.
4. That any male-line descendant of the union of His Imperial Highness The Prince Utas Enrique Naian, Marquess of Sentratera and Her Imperial Highness, Rosamund Azar Agueda, Viscountess of Lumenetra and Marchioness of Sentratera not bearing the illustrious surname of Ayreon-Kalirion de Waffel-Paine, unless with Our explicit consent, shall be deemed alien to the effect of this Imperial Decree.

Thus, by Our hand, do We, make firm, certain, and immutable this act of grace and sovereign favour, to endure for all time under heaven.

Given at Raynor's Keep on the ninth day of the thirteenth month in the year after the death of Norton one thousand seven hundred and forty-three.
