Imperial Decrees (Shireroth)/On Brandenburg, certain marriages, and Vidarstadt

AYREON THE FIFTH by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Qaisar-e Sathratiye, who, by this Imperial Decree, gives unto his subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the high and mighty gods of Shireroth, undying and unthinking obsequience.

Know that We, Mibaradardam be Khorshid va Mah Minamaz dadanam Zurvan, have in the first place dedicated to Zurvan this decree which by his Kharenah is confirmed for Us and Our heirs forever.

An Imperial Decree

On the Restoration of the House of Alsalam, Legitimation of Certain Marriages, the Settlement of the Duchy of Brandenburg, and the Establishment of the Duchy of Vidarstadt

I. Peace and Honour Restored

Let it be known unto all the lands of Shireroth that the breach which once divided the House of Alsalam and the Golden Mango Throne is now fully healed. By Our will and divine sanction, peace, loyalty, and honour are this day restored between the descendants of Mahmud bin Alsalam and the Imperial Throne. Their contrition has been offered, their fidelity renewed, and We receive them once more into the fullness of Our grace.

II. Legitimation of Marriages

In witness of this reconciliation, and with the seal of Imperial authority, We hereby declare the following unions, though once unapproved, to be, henceforth and forevermore, lawful, legitimate, and sanctified under the laws of Shireroth:

1. The marriage of Aurangzeb Hakimi bin Alsalam to Lucy Myksos in the year 1730
2. The marriage of Meera Hakimi bint Alsalam to Aqdas Kambarzahi in the year 1733
3. The marriage of Bolesław Ranković to Shanti Wasli in the year 1737
4. The marriage of Daniyal Hakimi bin Alsalam to Sumati Wasli in the year 1740
5. The marriage of Rashid Farhani bin Alsalam to Ruqaiya Wasli in the year 1741
6. The marriage of Samira Hakimi bint Alsalam to Pranav Turbati in the year 1742
7. The marriage of Fatima Farhani bint Alsalam to Hassan Rushan in the year 1742

All issue of these unions shall henceforth be recognised as lawful heirs, with all rights and honours due unto them.

Accordingly, all persons who, by reason of these marriages, had been excluded from the Imperial Order of Succession, shall now be restored to their rightful place therein, and shall be regarded as though such disqualification had never been imposed.

III. The Duchy of Brandenburg

With the full and gracious consent of His Grace Rafi Hakimi bin Alsalam, We do this day restore unto Aurangzeb Hakimi bin Alsalam the title, dignity, and prerogatives of Duke of Brandenburg, effective immediately.

Let this act be remembered as one of duty and honour fulfilled by Rafi Hakimi bin Alsalam, whose obedience to law and whose loyalty to the Throne are beyond reproach.

Furthermore, We affirm that, notwithstanding their previous removal from the title, Meera Hakimi bint Alsalam, Daniyal Hakimi bin Alsalam, Samira Hakimi bint Alsalam, and Rafi Hakimi bin Alsalam, together with their lawful issue, shall not be excluded from future succession to the Duchy of Brandenburg, should the misfortune arise whereby Aurangzeb Hakimi bin Alsalam expire without living issue.

IV. Creation of the Duchy of Vidarstadt

In gratitude for his devotion and service, and in celebration of his fidelity to the Throne, We do hereby bestow upon Rafi Hakimi bin Alsalam the title, degree and dignity of Duke of Vidarstadt, of the Free City of Vidarstadt, in Our prefecture of Batavia, for him to hold with all rights, privileges, and honours thereto pertaining., and for his lawful descendants to succed, in accordance with law.

Given at the Dar al Baraka on third day of the second month in the year after the death of Norton one thousand seven hundred and forty seven.
