Imperial Decrees (Shireroth)/Death of Zijinlin, Vidarstadt New Chamberlain

AYREON THE FIFTH by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Qaisar-e Sathratiye, who, by this Imperial Decree, gives unto his subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the high and mighty gods of Shireroth, undying and unthinking obsequience.

Know that We, Mibaradardam be Khorshid va Mah Minamaz dadanam Zurvan, have in the first place dedicated to Zurvan this decree which by his Kharenah is confirmed for Us and Our heirs forever.

An Imperial Decree

On the Passing of The Lord Hon ben Gyoku, Duke of Zijinlin, and the Appointment of a new Imperial Chamberlain

With solemn heart and filial grief do We announce the passing of Our beloved grandfather, the Lord Hon ben Gyoku, Duke of Zijinlin, Imperial Chamberlain, former Regent of Shireroth, and once Hōshasei Emperor of Hondon.

Born in the Jade Palace of Daocheng as the son of Princess Yuling, later the Meiyo Emperor, and nephew of the Hai Emperor, the late Lord was of the Heavenly House of Gyoku, from which We Ourselves descend. His life traversed the realms of Jingdao and Shireroth, uniting East and West through prudence, eloquence, and unbroken service to the Light.

As Diwang of the Grand Secretariat, Regent of Shireroth, and Chamberlain of the Imperial Household, he exemplified that temperate wisdom by which dynasties endure. His counsel strengthened Our reign; his memory shall sustain the generations to come.

ARTICLE I — The Imperial Funeral

A State Funeral shall be held in honour of The Lord Hon ben Gyoku at Daocheng, in accordance with the rites of both Jingdao and Shireroth, to commemorate his life and his long years of service to the Imperial Republic. The Imperial Standard shall be flown at half-mast across the Empire from the eve of the funeral until its conclusion. The bells of Shirekeep shall sound at dawn each day of mourning, and all Imperial institutions are to observe suitable decorum during this period.

ARTICLE II — Succession of the Ducal Peerage of Zijinlin

By hereditary right, the Duchy of Zijinlin is hereby confirmed to have transferred to Our Most Beloved Mother, the Imperial Mother, Kaika bat Gyoku, daughter of the late Duke Hon ben Gyoku. She shall hold the title and dignity of Duchess of Zijinlin, together with all lands, privileges, and honours appertaining thereto, and her arms shall be duly entered in the Imperial Roll of Nobility.

ARTICLE III — Succession of the Office of Imperial Chamberlain

To ensure the continued order and dignity of the Imperial Household, We hereby appoint The Lord Rafi Hakimi bin Alsalam, Duke of Vidarstadt, to serve henceforth as Imperial Chamberlain of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth, inheriting all rights, privileges, and obligations pertaining thereto.

ARTICLE IV — Membership in the Imperial Advisory Council

The Lord Rafi Hakimi bin Alsalam is further appointed as a Member of the Imperial Advisory Council, there to lend his counsel and discretion to the deliberations of the Golden Mango Throne and its government.
