Heavenly Highway
The Heavenly Highway system is a series of highways in the Barbarian Republic that dates back to 1591 AN, during the reign of the Kaiming Emperor over the first Jingdaoese Empire in Cibola. The highway system in Apollonian Jingdao was briefly called the Heavenly Highway in 1624 AN, but was renamed into the Imperial Autobahn, or teikoku michi in 1637 AN. After the fall of the Cibolan Jingdaoese Empire in 1602 AN the system fell in disrepair and only remnants were found by the Barbarian trying to restore the glory of the old empire. The Barbarian Republic has not yet gained all the territory needed to reconstruct the most important highways from the Jingdaoese era, but reconstruction of the B6 from Naval to Laguarres and the B7 from the B6 to Basella was started in 1687, reconstruction works on the C1 from Arvidsudde to Zaidin will start in 1688. The C1, which spanned from Arvidsudde to Neutreisen was originally an international highway, of the same importance as the Class A roads, with the C standing for "Cibola", rather than to denote a lower importance.
