UG-09 is an anti-ship cruise missile designed and manufactured by the Guttuli Protectorate, beginning in 1684 AN. Its design utilizes a ramjet to reach supersonic speed and can be launched from the HK-1A1.

Development of the UG-09 began in 1677 AN, in anticipation of the Raspur Pact's decision to restrict trade into and out of the Guttuli Protectorate -- assumed at the time to be early steps towards invasion. The design goal of the UG-09 was to use the existing technological base to produce a high-speed, difficult-to-destroy missile to deploy against any such sea-based attack force. Development was headed by the Joint Office for Naval Works, due to their experience in ship-based missile platforms, alongside other new missile designs. By 1681 AN, all other new designs were dropped in favor of maintaining the production of old pre-Fracture missiles, with R&D resources funnelled into completing the UG-09.

Certification trials were completed in VII.1684 AN in Alsin of the UG-09 mk.IV, the first production model. Demonstrations were given to a Frankish military delegation on 22.VIII.1684 AN, with the goal of manufacturing missiles for export to the Franco-Batavian Empire. First deployment was to Lichport on 11.IX.1684 AN, consisting of three HK-1A1 launchers and 19 missiles (rumored to be the Guttuli Protectorate's entire stock at the time). With production increasing, the Guttuli Protectorate intends to deploy additional UG-09s and HK-1A1 launchers to Svalbarh by the end of the year. The deployment of these systems inhibited the activities of the Maritime Armada in support of the Shirerithian campaign of reconquest, and resulted in a concerted campaign of saturation aerial bombardment against suspected deployment sites. The loss of a Logistic Support Vessel to a ground-launched UG-09 was never officially confirmed by the allied forces and remained a taboo subject long after the war.

After the suppression of the Guttuli Protectorate the design, along with partially destroyed examples recovered from the deployment site at Svalbarh, was reviewed with interest by Benacia Command where an emphasis was soon placed on developing variants suitable for launch by aviation and maritime platforms. The work in this regard was undertaken by the Šlomxala Arsenal in the Unified Governorates of Benacia.

A submarine-launched variant of the UG-09 constituted the main armament of the Type XXVI U-Boat, of which the BNS Tormentor (U-113) was the sole example, operated by the Maritime Forces of the Black Legions. At the behest of the Command Executive of Benacia Command the submarine launched variant developed by the Šlomxala Arsenal was intended primarily for the land attack role.
