Greater Jing Co-Prosperity Sphere
The Greater Jing Co-Prosperity Sphere was a secret concept created and promulgated for occupied and owned populations during the War of Lost Brothers by the Jingdaoese Empire. It extended greater than beyond its Apollonian territories and promoted the cultural and economic unity, while allowing (in theory) a larger political autonomy. It also declared the intention to create a self-sufficient "bloc of nations led by the Jingdaoese Army and Navy and free of Shirerithian power".
Background
During the War of Lost Brothers, several army officers noted, and even publicly complained about the differences in enthusiasm and moral between the Jingdaoese conscripts and the Kildarian soldiers. While both had grown up with the same amount of propaganda and the opportunities to grow in rank, by the time of the war, many younger Kildari increasingly felt the discrimination and inequality. Ever since the Xianbei Defiance, the Army and Navy had restricted the chances of Kildarian recruits. Distrust had, after a few years, decreased during the reign of the Hai Emperor, but a general lack of enthusiasm had remained.
After the Florian campaign, the Jingdaoese made attempts of testing the trustworthiness and success of establishing a political, free nation within the Jingdaoese sphere of influence: Xhusovo became the Empire of Hondon. Its citizens, who had suffered a lot, gained pride in re-establishing a state of their own. The recruits in the local forces were eager to protect their land, and - more important for the general staff - come to the aid of Jingdao.
Culturally, Hondon was heavily influenced: the Emperor was family of the Heavenly Light, and everywhere in the country, ho and dens were constructed to pray to the Heavenly Light, who received a religious role, instead that of being their own sovereign.
Proposed States
- Empire of Hondon
- Badaweian state of Teichi: the successor of Batavia, including its former colony of the Brettish Isles.
