Great Feast of 1693
The Great Feast of 1693 (RL. 1693re iłes is Ieśheieśuŝho) was a major feast held at Montran. Salome, as Sovereign of All-Laq, served as master of ceremonies, with the princes of the clans of Brookshire and Guttuli in the Great Sitting (RL. Desynŝho).
Arranged shortly after disinheriting her brother, removing him from the Order of Succession, and after experiencing pressure from the Imperial Court to marry and from the Laqi princes to establish a clan, it is believed that Salome's improprietous conduct during the latter half of the Great Feast was part of an attempt by Salome to take both matters into her own hands and produce issue to ensure the future viability of the Ayreon-Kalirion line.
Through the intercessions of Lyn Ityqu, Salome was carried beyond the boundary rope before explicitly profaning the space. His and Salome's retinue then ensured that the feast could be extended into the following day, so that she could recover, perform a prayerful absolution to re-enter the feasting space, and conclude the Great Feast correctly.
