Goldfield Accord

The Goldfield Accord is the name habitually accorded to a series of memorandums negotiated between the Kingdom of Ransenar and the Riqi Elluenuuerssuarion concerning the creation of a transportation corridor connecting the metropolitan regions of Eliria, Goldfield, and Chryse as part of the strategy for long-term economic growth agreed by the two allied Benacian powers for the sustainable development of the eastern portion of the continent.

Negotiations about negotiations

The appointment of a Joint Committee for the Drafting of the Accord on Improvements to Transportation Linkages Between Eliria, Goldfield, and Chryse, thereafter understandably referred to in most documentation as "The Joint Committee" was agreed after discussions between the governments of Elluenuueq and Ransenar which resulted in the publication of a memorandum of intent, issued on It has members that are either appointed directly by the executive branch of each nation or appointed via resolution of each of the negotiating nation's legislatures.

The Memorandum of Intent further established the remit of the negotiating parties concerning the establishment of a corridor of enhanced road, rail, and air services linking the specified metropolitan areas. The delegations also undertook to negotiate in good faith an agreement preliminary agreement for presentation to the respective governments of both nations.
