Free Cities Nuclear Station
The Free Cities Nuclear Station is a four-unit nuclear power plant located near Rhinford, Lorelei, in Lac Glacei, about 25 miles south of the city on the River Glacei. The four Eastinghouse Electric pressurized water reactors (PWRs) give the plant a total gross electric capacity of approximately 4,536 megawatts. It was named for the ancient city of Free City, capital of Freenesia, a colloquial name applied to Rhinford and its nearby hamlets. It is owned and operated by the Lac Glaceian government as a public utility. It is the largest nuclear power plant in Lac Glacei next to the Aquaria Nuclear Generating Station in Johannsessbuurg. The plant provides electricity to 2.3 million homes and is considered a major source of Lac Glacei's clean energy production. Some of the power produced is distributed and sold to nearby Hurmu where it is used for homes in Lontinien.
