Northcliff United and Dragonmoor FC are the two most successful and popular teams in Floria and the rivalry between the two clubs have gradually become part of Florian culture. This rivalry heavily contributes to social and political division nationwide. As a result, fixtures between the two rivals attract huge interest, particularly amongst Raspur Pact member nations and other Apollonian countries.
Between the two clubs, the clubs are the only clubs to have won a Florian League championship (Northcliff United have won three championships whilst two titles have been won by Dragonmoor). In addition, Northcliff United have won three Florian Cups, two Florian League Cup titles and two AEFA Champions' League titles.
Dragonmoor FC despite having less domestic titles than United are however the first and only Florian football team to win the FMF Champions' League winning the 2023 edition. Both clubs have large fanbases globally and both heavily contribute to Floria's footballing success on the international stage.
