Eastern Fence
The Eastern Fence is a border barrier located on the Constancian side of the Constancian - Banh Nam border.
Its establishment was included in the Constancian Development Plan for 1740-1750. It was also a priority project of the National Service Council. Its estimated cost is 1 billion Imperial Staters.
This is only the first iteration of what is intended to be a multi-barrier fortification.
Characteristics
The initial fence was barbed wire, put in place by the Imperial Constancian Armed Forces, completed by the end of 1740. The actual Eastern Fence is a 7-meter high concrete wall with sensors, video feed, and remote-controlled machine guns.
There is a 1-kilometer buffer zone alongside the Eastern Fence on the Constancian side, which is raked sand. Watchtowers and bunkers are located in one-kilometer intervals.
It is patrolled by units of the 509th (Surenid) Army, Eastern Eura Army Group.
