Driftwood International Airport is an airport located to the west of the Alriggian capital of Driftwood. It is the only international airport in Alrig. Driftwood International serves as the hub for Alrig Air and a base for Shouxuan Airlines. While the airport was intended to have two runways, Driftwood International opened in 1674 with a single runway. This was the result of a compromise between the airport administration and environmentalist groups as well as the Labor Party of Alrig who were opposed to the flight route over residential areas the second runway would make necessary.
Infrastructure
Driftwood International has one terminal, named after President Hieronim Erazm. Two piers are in use, one by Alrig Air and the the other by Shouxuan Airlines. The airport has a train station on the line between Driftwood and Sint Anna.
