Der Tag (lit. The Day) was a daily Weisenburger newspaper that covers both local news in Weisenburg along with national news. It was formed in 1726 AN after journalist Christoph Haselberger founded a publishing house in downtown Weisenburg. It, and it's employees, are apart of the Kaiserliche Verband Druck und Medien (Imperial Association for Print and Media), and was edited by Claus Hetingsdorf.
The newspaper offered both print and online subscriptions, and individual newspapers could be purchased at stores across the country. It also operated on several social media platforms such as Tweeter and ClipWave.
The newspaper maintained a broad Centre-Right political stance, mostly aligning with the views of the Conservative-Nazarene Union, although Der Tag has no connection to the official newspaper of the KNU, Der Tägliche Nazarener.
The newspaper ceased operations following the Integration of the United Principalities into the Aemilian Federation in 1741 AN.
