The Crown Guards (Pallisican: Garda Crösacío; Sangunese: 王冠近衛 Ōkan Konoe) are the household troops of the monarch of East Zimia and the Wallis Islands. Established in IX.1720 AN as part of the Land Forces of the East Zimian and Wallisian War League, they were made a separate branch on 31.XV.1723 AN. Although theoretically subordinate to the East Zimian and Wallisian War League, the Crown Guards are effectively under the personal command of Queen Mina.

Structure

1720-1731

As originally established, the principle combat elements of the Crowns Guards were organised into a single brigade, comprised of a command and control regiment, a logistical supply regiment, three gravmech regiments, a heavy tank battalion with 45 Lucinspire vehicles, and a quadwalker battlion.

1731-

In early 1731 AN, the 3rd Regiment of Crown Guards was transferred to Ossyo, as the nucleus of a second brigade. Each brigade would now have two instead of three gravmech regiments, and the heavy tank battalion would similarly be reduced from three squadrons to two, with 30 Lucinspire tanks each.

These changes saw the overall strength of the Crown Guards increase from eight to fourteen thousand personnel.

By 1736 AN, each heavy tank battalion had received a new third squadron equipped with fourteen Petal sentient tanks.
