The Council of Government of Gran Verionia (Martino: Consejo de Gobierno) is the executive cabinet and part of the executive branch of the Verionian government. It is made up of 12 Secretaries of State and the President of the Council of Government.
Role and Appointment
The members of the Council of Goverment are selected by the Supreme Director and confirmed by a simple majority of the Grand Council. The role of the members of the Council according to law is to assist the Supreme Director in his execution of the office of Head of State and Government. In practice, each Secretary of State is delegated a specific ministry in which they serve.
