Corps of General Surveyors

The Corps of General Surveyors, subordinate to the Chamber of Public Works within the Legatine College for Industry, Resources, and Public Works, and ultimately answerable to the Commission for the Sacred Treasury of the Benacian Union, was established on 10.VIII.1720 AN and is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of road and rail infrastructure within the Union-State, liaising as necessary with corresponding public bodies at the realm and governorate levels.

In 1734 AN the General Division of Railways was formed, with responsibility for oversight of the All-Union Benacian Railway Company.
