Conflict of Draguți
The Conflict of Draguți is a Daau-led annexation of Draguți which is going on between 1st September till now.
Led by the Daau Army Battalion 1, the troops barged into the city to fend off the Aeland Belaov rebels which planned an attack on Daas.
The Start
After the failure of the Daau Anti-Xi Protests, unrest began in the neighbouring region of Draguți which housed many Aeland Belaov citizens who were trying to get into mainland Krasnovlac.
The unrest quickly turned into a mass protest against the Daau government and Krasno government which alerted the border guards nearby.
Only Daau would respond to the call as Krasnovlac turned down due to current issues with the island state.
The Invasion
The Opening
On the morning of 1st September, the 7th Resimen Di Daau would make their way into the border village of Mwahati, wiping out all rebels in the area while making way for the main battalion.
The troops would arrive from Daas two hours later, ready to take on the rebel forces which were already waiting at the Cezckpoint.
The Dauian force would brutally barge into the defensive line and start their attack, despite being heavily outnumbered the army still fought on.
More troops would arrive the following day to wipe out the rebel forces which were causing a potential harm to Daau and Krasnovlac.
The Aeland Belaov rebels however were still holding their defensive line despite many attempts to break the line by the Dauian army, they kept fighting to break the defensive line which was holding them back.
And on the evening of 4th September, the defensive line broke.
The Breaking Blow
Once the defensive line was blown up by the Dauian forces, the Aeland Belaov citizens inside of Draguți were seen fleeing and leaving the city on boats to return to the main island.
The main defensive force were either captured or killed which meant that the city was now vunerable to anything.
A bomb was dropped on the rebels shelter on 12:44PM on 5th September, marking the first ever bomb dropped by Daau.
Another shelter was destroyed by the Dauian forces as they rummaged through the war-torn city, trying to find the culprits of the planned invasion.
And finally the city would be clear of any rebels and other protestors after they all fled into mainland Krasno or by boat.
Aftermath
A total of 1,032 casualties were recorded for the rebels in the city and 53 for the Dauian forces.
This would be one of the bloodiest wars in Daau's history as they yet again clear out foreign attacks.
Human Rights
Due to the massive number of casualties for such a small conflict, Daau was placed into the spotlight of human rights as the rebels were suspected to be placed under torture by the Dauian forces.
Current State
Draguți is currently under Daau's control as they have successfully annexed the area.
