Coffea lanzerwaldica (Problematic, Istvanistani translation: Lanzerwaldian coffee) is a species of flowering plant in the coffee family. It is the sole coffee species that is native to the Lanzerwald. Plants of the Lanzerwaldian coffee species can become 10 meters tall in the wild, with big leaves that have hairs that are highly irritating to the skin, so that gloves have to be worn to harvest the drupes that contain the seeds. Coffee brewed from Lanzerwaldian beans is often considered to be more chocolate-like than coffee from other varieties, and less bitter and acidic. Most coffee served in the Aemilian Federation is made from Lanzerwaldian coffee beans.

Stalks from Coffea lanzerwaldica contain a powerful phytoestrogen that can potentially cause feminisation in male humans. These phytoestrogens are not present in the coffee beans at detectable levels and the stalks are not usually consumed. The stalks do play a role in South Cibolan Witchcraft, where they have been introduced by Merida Vala, one of the highest ranking witches in the Aemilian religion.
