XIII.1690 | On the Cibolan Situation | In the Name of Arthur the Third of his Name, by the Grace of Cato and the Gods, Prince of the Calbain. The Government of Calbion does hereby proclaim: That the situation on the Cibolan continent is worrying and dangerous. The Calbain government strongly condemns the actions of the ESB Group in the raid on local Cibolan communities and the murder of a football player. In addition, the Natopian government has continued to aid this criminal organisation and has helped turnign Cibola in a wilderness of murder and despair. The Natopian aggressions cannot stand, and need to be held accountable by the international community. From now on, the ESB group and all those aligned to this criminal organisation will be arrested immediately upon entry of any Calbain possession, without the possibility of extradition. In addition, all Natopians or those affiliated with this criminal state will be arrested upon entry and may either be detained or prosecuted based on circumstance. IV.1647 | On the Alexandrian Agression | In the Name of Jack the Second of his Name, by the Grace of Cato and the Gods, Prince of the Calbain. The Government of Calbion does hereby proclaim: To denounce and reject the Alexandrian aggression towards the island known as Ynys Pengwin, currently under Jingdaoese administration. In a time of international unrest and turmoil, the decision by the Alexandrian government to attack the island and its citizens directly, using heavy weaponry and missiles, cannot be tolerated. The government of Calbion has a duty to all Calbain people, no matter where on Micras they might be. The island attacked has a significant population of residents of Calbain heritage, as well as a prominent place in Calbion's naval history. It was here where the great Admiral Callaghan settled down after his long maritime career. The Jingdaoese government has proven itself to be a worthy custodian of that sacred legacy, and it is for this reason that the Alexandrian attack will not stand and shall stop immediately. We hereby order the Supreme Admiral of the Navy to deploy the 3rd Fleet to Ynys Pengwin. Alexandrian ships threatening the sanctity of the Jingdaoese waters shall immediately be terminated. We do not wish for war, and we strongly urge the Alexandrian navy to withdraw from Jingdaoese waters immediately. Rho i mi fanna, Rho i mi fanna, Fel na bwyf yn llwfwrhau. Done by the hand of Governor-General Llywelyn Lewis

III.1636 | Declaration of War on Constancia | In the Name of Jack the Second of his Name, by the Grace of Cato and the Gods, Prince of the Calbain. The Government of Calbion does hereby proclaim: History tells us of the destruction of war and the devestating results of threatening international harmony and peace. No country has experienced more of the horrors of warfare than our great nation of Calbion. It therefore is our strong conviction that the world must come together as one, united in its aim for peace and a global society. It is to that end that we have alligned ourselves with other nations who hold a similar view. Together, we can and must ensure global harmony. The Blackrock Pact to us as Calbain, was not just the last piece in the great puzzle of rebuilding our nation and healing wounds of the past, it was also a strongly idealistic endeavour to seek a place on the world stage together with those of good will, who desire peace on earth. It therefore is with great sadness that we have witnessed the nation of Constancia declare war on our Jingdaoese brothers, deliberately insulting their leader, and threatening military action against the nation of Jingdao. Calbion can not sit still and watch, as the harmony of the world is threatened. Our great philosopher-King Llywelyn the second famously said that, without strength, there can be no respect and without respect, there can be no peace. This, my fellow Calbain, is a time to show strength and to demand respect. We will aid our ally in the fight against Constancia where we can, not only because we are bound to do so, but because it is a just cause. It is the cause of international harmony. It is for those reasons that today, we are at war. Our enemy is not only the enemy of the members of that great alliance, the Blackrock Pact, but the enemy of all those who value peace and who value liberty. With a heavy heart, but with a strong conviction, therefore this government hereby declares war on Constancia. Done by the hand of Governor-General Llywelyn Lewis

The Government of Calbion does hereby proclaim: That Calbion will join the international strategic community known as the Blackrock Past to safeguard the safety and independence of the Calbain nation and its people. Done by the hand of Governor-General Llywelyn Lewis

Done by the hand of Governor-General Llywelyn Lewis

II.1631 | On a Ban on the Import of Cabbage | In the Name of Jack the Second of his Name, by the Grace of Cato and the Gods, Prince of the Calbain. The Government of Calbion does hereby proclaim: That the Government does issue an immediate ban on the import of Cabbage in all sorts. This ban follows the disturbing reports of a resurgence of the devastating Brassicosis Plague. To effectively safeguard the Calbain people, the ban on importing Cabbage is non-discriminatory and applies to all types of Cabbage. Done by the hand of Governor-General Llywelyn Lewis

VI.1627 | On Calbain Independence | In the Name of Jack the First of his Name, by the Grace of Cato and the Gods, Prince of the Calbain. The Government of Calbion does hereby proclaim: Dear fellow countrymen and -women, Today, I stand before you in the Assembly building to give to you this speech concerning the recent significant developments regarding our nation. For almost a hundred years, the great Calbain nation has been part of the Brettish Commonwealth, which has allowed us to develop and restore our unique culture and ancient heritage after the devestating years before that. And now, the time has come that Calbion stands on its own officially. We are now an independent nation, which as you might know is actually a unique thing in our history. Even though we have always governed and kept to ourselves, we have never been truly in charge of our lands. And now, now we are. Independence for Calbion is a great thing, we will have the full opportunity to make our nation greater, it paves the way for a new cultural and political rennaissance. Calbion has the time to flourish and to rule the waves of the central ocean. But with opportunity comes responsibility. A responsibility for me as leader of the Calbain people and for you as the citizens of this great nation. Stand up for Calbion and its heritage and help our nation reach this new period of greatness! This is my call to you, my promise to you is that I will do everything in my power to help you and Calbion. This isn´t the first time a Calbain leader has given a speech on independence. Long ago, Jack Mounford held a very similar speech which lead to the chain of events that proved devestating to our country. This time is very different. The reasons for independence and the circumstances where the Calbain people are in are different. Hopefully the outcome will be very different as well... However, I am realising that I stand in the footsteps of a great man, a man who made Calbion what it is today and who has drawn up the vision of our country. And it is an honour for me to quote him today to say that we will remain who we are: a land of peace, friendship, respect and harmony, a nation to be proud of. I end with the words written long ago, representing our spirit and the way of our people. I can not think of something that would describe my emotions better than this ancient hymn, and I hope you will join me in singing it: Wlad lle y dreigiau a duwiau yn byw. Gwlad lle mae fy rhieni, a fy mhobl yn byw. Gwlad y Calbain yw fy nhy a bydd yn parhau. Wlad brydferth yw fy nhy, a bydd yn parhau. Done by the hand of Governor-General Llywelyn Lewis

VII.1599 | On the Loss of a Natopian Trading Vessel | In the Name of Jack the First of his Name, by the Grace of Cato and the Gods, Prince of the Calbain. The Government of Calbion does hereby proclaim: That the Calbain government, also speaking for its South Batavian friends, deeply regrets the loss of a Natopian trading ship through the hands of a citizen of Calbion. Our government strongly disaproves of the actions we have seen, and would make clear to our Natopian friends that the raid of their trading ship by Captain Callaghan and his men will not be tolerated by the Calbain government. Our thoughts go out to the families of the captured men. May Cato comfort them during this terrible ordeal. Done by the hand of Governor-General William Nelson
