Cárdenas Stock Exchange
The Cárdenas Stock Exchange (CSE, or simply, "La Nouvelle Bourse", with the "Vielle Bourse" being the Punta Santiago Stock Exchange, the second largest stock market in Nouvelle Alexandrie) is a New Alexandrian stock exchange located in the capital city, Cárdenas, FCD. The CSE is owned by a private corporation, TransFederal Exchange, a New Alexandrian holding company that is also listed in the CSE under TRXE and also owns the Punta Santiago Stock Exchange.
The CSE is the largest stock exchange in Nouvelle Alexandrie by market capitalization of its listed companies at NAX€ 22.161 trillion as of 1711 AN. The average daily value of trading reached $100 billion in 1705 AN. The CSE trading floor and headquarters are located at the Capital City Trade Center Building in the Banking Sector of the city of Cárdenas, FCD. Before 1700 AN, the CSE trading floor and headquarters were located at the Bourse du Cárdenas Building.
Founded in 1685 AN, the Cárdenas Stock Exchange began operations as the city of Cárdenas was being rebuilt and reimagined by the Federal Capital Commission. Trading opened on 17.XIV.1686 AN with the CSE 500 index and the CSE FedStock index, its main index. A broad range of businesses from all sectors of the economy are listed in the exchange and its many indexes. The CSE also lists various exchange-traded funds, split share corporations, income trusts, and investment funds. The CSE is known for its large amount of mining, hydrocarbon, and manufacturing companies.
