Previously known as the Pink District, a term considered pejorative due to its reference to the area's significant LGBTQ+ population, the neighborhood was officially renamed Bocabona in 1693 AN. This renaming coincided with the broader transformation when the Federation of Alduria and the Wechua Nation became the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie.
As Cárdenas developed over time, Bocabona evolved from an insular community into a vibrant and diverse neighborhood.
