Bintang Muda Tournament

The Bintang Muda Tournament (English: Young Stars Tournament) is a football tournament, which features invited youth national teams of under-20 level. known as the MSBC Bintang Muda Cup for sponsorship reasons. The tournament is hosted in Seragaan, Daau, with the first edition being in 2025. The competition is hosted biannually to avoid scheduling clashes with FMF tournaments.

History

The Bintang Muda Tournament was founded by the Daau Football Association to give grassroots footballers of different nations a chance to come together and showcase their footballing abilities. The competition will host its first edition in 2025, with the final being set in the Davinson Stadium.

Rules

The tournament is played in 45-minute halves like any other football game. Every team is permitted 12 substitutes and a maximum of 4 changes in 3 intervals per game.

During knockout games, matches which remain tied at the end of ordinary time will proceed directly to a penalty shootout, instead of traditional extra time.
