Basagrande Pro League is the top division football league in Basagrande and an semi-professional football league sanctioned by the Basagrande Football Association.

The league was halted for several times in the past due to civil unrest and protests in the region causing the league to be cancelled or postponed midway.

Clubs

These are the teams for the 2022 season.

Format

Competition

There are 9 clubs in the league who play each other twice in a double round-robin system throughout the course of the season, once at home and once away. Teams receive three points for a win, one point for a draw, and none for a loss. Teams are ranked by points scored, then goal-difference for tie breakers. If there is still a tie, the positions will be decided based on goals scored. If there is still a tie for relevant occupancies such as the league title, qualification to any competition, or relegation, a play-off will be hosted in a home and away format to decide league standings.

Players in the league are mostly amateur and earn minimal wage while playing for the teams and need second jobs to support their daily lives, some star players are able to earn up to 5 figure salaries.
