Association of Whalers and Fishermen of Walstadt and Light

The Association of Whalers and Fishermen of Walstadt and Light (AWFWL; Saxon: Walfänger- und Fischerverband Walstadts und Lichtes, WUFWUL) is a labour union and political party active in Walstadt and Light. It organizes workers in various fishing industries (including non-fishermen such as workers in fisheries-related and whale-related factories), but its main role is in collective-bargaining agreements with the Saint Andre Trading Corporation (SATC), which has monopoly on whaling in the demesne. After 1743, collective-bargaining agreements were sought with all new actors in the industry following the of monopoly of the SATC.

As a political party, AWFWL receives support from a majority of the Saxon-speaking population in the demesne. It is a strong voice for labour rights, yet is conservative on many other issues. Main rival of the Democratic Party of Kujirashi.
