Andres Ahuanal, often Nicknamed "Andal", is a Nouvelle Alexandrian theoretical physicist and mathematician. He is also known for his extensive popular science career. He was among the first students in the Faculty of Physics at the University of Cárdenas in 1688 AN, and managed to complete a double Ph.D degree in both Particle Physics and Quantum Mechanics. He has been considered a leading scientist in Nouvelle Alexandrie, and as one of the foremost experts in particle physics and quantum theory.

A Cárdenas Metro stop was renamed after him in 1694 AN.

He was a member of the Federal Science & Research Council between 1710 AN and 1726 AN, and was most notably known as the foremost spokesperson for scientific education. He was also involved in the planning of the Superconducting Super Collider which was completed in 1733 AN, of which he became an honorary member. He was a professor of particle physics at the University of Cárdenas between 1698 AN and 1722 AN, during which time he wrote multiple textbooks.

Between 1710 AN and 1720 AN, he hosted and co-produced two popular science shows - the Child-oriented 'Lab Room Show' and General-science show 'Discoveries' - for the National Broadcasting Corporation, in which he attempted to promote scientific education and knowledge of science in the general population.
